This role is with a DeWinter Investment Management Partner

Boston, MA - Hybrid Role - We are targeting local candidates that can be in the Boston office 3 days per week.

12 Month + contract (or contract to hire, if desired)

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Senior UX Designer with a strong foundation in data-driven product design and a passion for making complex financial tools intuitive and insightful. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders who deeply understand our return attribution platform to reimagine and improve how users explore and analyze portfolio performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal experts to map how users currently navigate our return attribution page and portfolio analysis tools.
• Recommend and implement more intuitive UX layouts and workflows that enhance the analytical process.
• Lead the redesign of user experiences for quantitative investment analysis tools, focusing on usability and clarity.
• Translate complex financial data and metrics into clean, interactive designs.
• Advocate for the user while balancing the needs of quant-driven users and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of UX design experience, ideally within asset management, quantitative investment, or crypto.
• Strong proficiency in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Comfort with data-centric tools and interfaces—experience designing for dashboards, analytics, or investment platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with quantitative investing or return attribution concepts is a major plus.
• Ability to think critically and work autonomously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Bonus:

• Background in finance, statistics, or data science.
• Experience working with quant teams or investment professionals.
