Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish and expand a UX research function that aligns with overall business goals and product direction.
- Plan, conduct, and manage comprehensive research studies using diverse methodologies such as interviews, surveys, usability evaluations, and diary studies.
- Champion the voice of the user by providing clear, actionable insights to product, design, and leadership teams.
- Build and maintain a centralized library of research outputs, including user personas, reports, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering strong user-centered research skills.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize research needs and fully integrate research into product development workflows.
- Influence key decisions by communicating research findings through engaging and persuasive storytelling.
Qualifications:
- 5–6 years of professional experience in UX research, demonstrated by a portfolio of projects that drove meaningful outcomes.
- A proven track record of building or scaling UX research programs within an organization.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, with a talent for delivering insights that shape stakeholder thinking.
- Preferred: Experience in casino gaming, entertainment technology, or other fast-moving digital industries.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work setting, spending 3–4 days per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ.
