Job Description
As a service technician at Delta Engineering Inc. you will work on site at our facility in Norcross and you'll give customer support on site at customers as well.
Your responsibilities:
At our facility in Norcross:
- Prepare machines for factory acceptance at Delta Engineering
- Prepare machines for shipping o Assembly and set up of automation lines
- Test running machines
- Remote support on machines in the field
- Provide phone/e-mail support to customers all over the US
- Provide feedback to the R&D department
- Composing support manuals and step-by-step procedures
On site at customers
- Onsite support
- Installation of equipment
- Providing Machine Training for customers
- Maintenance on machines in the field
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Good knowledge and understanding of automation and electrical engineering;
- Good software skills (MS Office, internet…); experience with AutoCAD is an advantage;
- Willing to go hands on when it comes to technology;
- Willing to learn and improve skills and knowledge;
- “Can do” mentality;
- Must have good analytical skills to be able to solve problems;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Willing to travel maximum 50% (must be able to obtain a passport);
- Able to work in an international environment;
- Capable of working without sponsorship.
