CTR Group is seeking experienced Shipfitters - Ship Repair in the Norfolk, VA area for full-time positions. Travelers Welcome!

Recently separated or retired Navy Hull Technicians encouraged to apply!

Pay Range: $30 - $38 per Hour. Plus $150 Per diem. Available to Non-Local Candidates!!! Per diem is paid for days worked. Plus Benefits

Qualifications

 

SHIPFITTER-Repair experience: Minimum 5 years

Must be US citizen

Resumes demonstrating ship repair

Must be Dbids eligible

Must be able to pass tack test

Must be able to read blueprints

• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Shipfitter in a Naval / Shipyard environment.
• Must have Ship Repair experience, preferably 5 years
• Proficiently skilled in multi-pass tack welding
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings
• Must successfully complete a criminal background screen and drug test.
