Job: A SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC who has vast small engine experience and will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of company equipment, and the organization and supply inventory of this shop department, with other tasks assigned as needed. Mowers and small engine equipment (weedeaters, landscape blowers, etc.), and power tools are the primary focus of this position. This is a part-time position that may have varying hours.
If full-time hours are desired - seasonally or year-round, applicant must be able & willing to work outdoors as part of an assigned crew. Departments with crew openings are Mowing, Landscaping, or Irrigation/Lighting. Training provided, if necessary, for these crew positions. If working on a crew in addition to shop duties, applicant must be flexible (as weather conditions can intervene with schedules), without physical restrictions, be able to move & lift in a fast-paced environment, outdoors in all weather conditions.
