Trion Staffing is Hiring for Snow Labor/Sidewalk Shovelers

Based out of Pontiac Area

Plow truck operators must have chauffers license

8-14 hour shifts depending on snow

Seasonal Work

Must be available for "on call"

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. This role is crucial during the winter months, ensuring that properties remain safe and accessible by effectively removing snow from walkways, driveways, and other areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Duties

• Clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots using shovels and snow blowers.
• Maintain a safe environment by applying salt or sand to icy surfaces as needed.
• Perform regular maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks during off-season, including lawn care and tree trimming.
• Utilize power tools for various landscaping duties when snow removal is not required.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries while working in snowy conditions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in snow removal or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of tree care, lawn care, and landscape maintenance is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation purposes between job sites.
