Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year in the Concord, NH area, serving K-12 students. This contracted role involves managing a caseload primarily within resource classrooms, with some push-in services provided in the general education setting. There is also potential to work in a life skills program, which may be combined with resource room responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with a range of moderate disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Behavioral Disorders (BD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and Life Skills needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique learning requirements of each student.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to provide inclusive support through push-in services.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Engage with parents, counselors, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with educational regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification appropriate for K-12.
  • Experience working with students with moderate disabilities, including ASD, BD, LD, and Life Skills.
  • Ability to manage resource and self-contained classroom environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Concord, New Hampshire

Position Details:

  • Contracted role lasting the full school year (NSY).
