Staffing Specialist

Location: Haltom City

Pay: $19-$23

Shift: 1st

I. Job Summary

The Staffing Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates in light industrial roles, such as stadium event staff, warehouse associates, forklift operators, assemblers, and general laborers. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple job openings while ensuring compliance with client needs and industry regulations.

II. Key Responsibilities & Expectations

1. Candidate Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
2. Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
3. Create an engaging environment for candidates in the office using a high level of customer service.
4. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring job orders.
5. Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate flow and ensure timely follow-ups.
6. Attend job fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs to attract talent.
7. Supporting additional offices in time of need.
8. Candidate Screening & Selection
9. Conduct thorough interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
10. Verify credentials, references, and work history in compliance with company and client requirements.
11. Administer pre-employment assessments, background checks, and drug screenings as necessary.
12. Ensure all hiring decisions align with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and other relevant employment laws.

2. Number of Candidates Sourced per Week:10 active leads.
3. Time-to-Fill: Maintain an average of 2 days per job order.
4. Candidate & Client Satisfaction
5. Candidate Retention Rate: 85%+ of placements staying beyond 2 days.
6. Client Satisfaction Score: 90%+ positive feedback from client surveys.
7. Resolution Time for Client Issues: Within 24–48 hours.
8. Compliance & Documentation
9. Accuracy of Records: 100% compliance with ATS entries and candidate documentation.
10. Adherence to Compliance Regulations: Zero legal or compliance violations.
11. Productivity & Efficiency
12. Job Order Fill Rate: 90% of all job orders filled in accordance with client requirements.
13. Attrition Rate: Less than 10% early-stage turnover (first 15 days).

IV. Ideal Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and staffing compliance.
• Ability to assess candidate qualifications and soft skills effectively.
• Proficiency in Google Suites a plus

Education & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in staffing or recruiting, preferably in light industrial or high-volume roles.
• Familiarity with warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics industries is a plus
