Store Manager Responsibilities Include

\n

\n
• Maintain all operational staffing
\n
• Maintaining the highest level of customer expectations in the industry
\n
• Order entry
\n
• Obtain stock orders from customers, unit down and special orders, online ordering, follow up on back orders and stock transfers.
\n
• Determine customer needs for merchandise and inform of any current special sales
\n
• Promote all product lines and solicit sales
\n

\n

Operational requirements:

\n

\n
• Scheduling and assigning employees
\n
• Effectively manage a team of warehouse associates and customer service representatives .
\n
• Recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training warehouse and customer service employees
\n
• Job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
\n
• Assist in inventory control activities, including annual, cycle counts and maintaining bin location accuracy.
\n
• Problem resolution that arises with customers or associates
\n
• Monitoring expenses
\n
• Responsible for the efficiency and accuracy of the distribution team in areas such as receiving, picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
\n
• Responsible for the physical handling of parts returning from customers, parts to the manufacturer including special returns, annual returns, cores and warranties.
\n
• Promote safety standards to comply with company policy
\n
• Promotes a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment, trucks, and inventory
\n
• Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities as needed
\n

Successful Store Manager candidates Will Have:

\n

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent
\n
• One year of related experience is required
\n
• Excellent communication (oral & written)
\n
• Customer service oriented
\n
• Ability to operate power industrial equipment (e.g. fork lifts,)
\n

• The role is a physically active role

• Will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist device.

• Will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift

• Will frequently be required to: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and climbing

• Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities

• The associate will be regularly exposed typical inside and outside environmental conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances

• Exposure to hazards or physical risks, associated with a warehouse, vehicle services, and retail operations, which require following basic safety precautions
