Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational organization is seeking a dedicated Substitute Registered Behavior Technician to provide support across various classroom and outpatient school settings. The chosen candidate will deliver behavior-support interventions aligned with individualized behavior plans under the direction of behavior analysts and school staff. State mandated fingerprinting and background clearance are required.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior-support strategies for students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs, following established plans and protocols.
Collect and record data on student behavior, progress, and intervention outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation for review.
Collaborate with certified staff (teachers, behavior analysts, special educators) to adapt strategies and support individual student goals.
Assist in establishing structured environments, promoting positive behavior, supervising transitions, and reducing behavioral incidents.
Maintain confidentiality of student information, comply with school district and state policies on student conduct, and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Current certification or certification-eligible as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Pennsylvania or willing to obtain.
Experience working with students with behavioral or developmental challenges in school or clinical settings preferred.
Completion of state fingerprinting and successful background check required prior to assignment.
Strong observational skills, effective communication with students and staff, ability to work independently in structured but dynamic settings.
Capability to adapt to varying classroom environments, remain calm under pressure, and maintain professional conduct at all times.
