Are you seeking an internship that offers practical actuarial experience and insight into the dynamic world of property and casualty insurance? Our Summer 2025 P&C Internship in Indianapolis provides a unique opportunity to engage in exciting projects within the property and casualty insurance sector while learning from experienced actuaries in a collaborative environment. This position can be conducted either in-office in Carmel, IN, or fully remote.

Pay: $18-$23/hour

In This Role, You Will:

- Support industry research and conduct actuarial analyses.
- Assist with special client projects in the property and casualty insurance field.
- Participate in client interactions, gaining insights from an actuarial consultant's perspective.
- Acquire hands-on experience with actuarial subjects that directly relate to upper-level CAS exam syllabus material.

Essential Requirements:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.7 or a "Pass" in a Pass/Fail grading system.

Pay, Benefits & Perks:

- Hourly rate ranging from $18 to $23.
- The internship will be based in our Indianapolis location in Carmel, IN, with flexibility for either in-office or remote work. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation during in-office periods.
