ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a systems engineer for submarine ballistic missile guidance program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the Atlantic Fleet Ballistic Missile Guidance Systems. What you will do: Be part ofa talented and dedicated group in the support of the Fleet Ballistic Missile MK 6 Guidance Program. Plan, prioritize, coordinate and direct the daily operations associated with the MK 6 Guidance Program in Kings Bay Ga. The MK 6 Guidance Program includes four pieces of test equipment utilized during the testing of the Trident II D5 Missile. Your team will be the local subject matter experts on this equipment. On a daily basis, demonstrate sound judgment in selecting the right course for obtaining solutions. Work under limited direction. Frequent contact and communication with external customers.
