Job DescriptionThe Company is a leader in environmental sustainability programs and waste management solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced well-rounded environmental or chemical representative in the Chicago area that excels in sales. Duties include working closely with existing customers, prospecting and calling on selected new accounts and territory development.The chosen candidate will be seasoned, self-motivated and a team player with a proven track record in environmental, chemical or related industries. The selected candidate will have comprehensive and technical knowledge in the areas of sustainability initiatives, recycling programs, chemical and waste management methodologies and strong knowledge of RCRA and DOT programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIESMaintain and strengthen current customer relationshipsDevelop / implement business plan for assigned territory to increase market share and achieve quarterly/yearly revenue growth targetsArrange business meetings with prospective customersForecasting / tracking territory performanceCollaborate with internal departments to achieve growth targetsProvide trustworthy after-sales support internally and with customersQualificationsMust be located in Minnesota3 - 5 years' experience in Environmental, chemical or related technical salesBachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry or a similar fieldMust possess good communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills, great drive and motivationProven ability to negotiate and close salesAbility to build strong relationshipsTechnical skills to create proposals and find solutions to meet customer needsStrong working knowledge of industrial accountsComprehensive knowledge of company services and their application to customer requirements and competitive marketsExcellent negotiating skillsKnowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations preferredCertifications a plus (CHMM, CEP, CSP, Etc.)Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelProficient in CRM application
