Job Description

Looking for a youth travel coach to help lead a group of young, talented players (ages 8-13 years old). Someone who is energetic, positive, and loves working with kids is essential. We would prefer if you have high school baseball or softball playing experience.

• Schedule: Dec - June
• Comp: $20-40/hour
• Practices: 1-2 days/week starting in January, then 2-3 days/week come Spring Time
• Looking for experienced players/coaches who have played High School Baseball and have coaching experience

Locations: Highland Park and Deerfield, IL

Responsibilities:

• Incorporate new techniques into practice sessions.
• Coach players on baseball fundamentals.
• Have fun with the kids!
• Brings tons of energy!

Duties:

• Lead and guide groups of young children in sports activities, creating a positive and inclusive environment.
• Introduce innovative techniques and drills during practice sessions to enhance players' skills.
• Coach players on the fundamental principles of the sport, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Serve as a mentor and positive role model for young athletes, fostering character development and promoting sportsmanship.
• Ensure punctuality and efficiently check-in students for classes and camps.
• Effectively manage classroom settings, demonstrating exceptional time and behavior management skills.
• Create a fun and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and enjoyment.
