Job Description & RequirementsJob Summary:-Prepares patient for examination focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction, explains the procedure in easy-to-understand terms performs ultrasound procedures, relieve patients of pre-testing anxiety and directly observes the and monitors the patient during the entire process.-Sets-up equipment to administer procedures in a timely fashion.-Carefully reviews prior reports and images, and patient chart.-Ensures that proper images have been obtained, studies are complete and through, appropriate techniques have been employed, reader is notified.-Maintains records and logs exams performed. -Maintains control of inventory and purchases of supplies for the assigned area.-Performs other related duties as assigned.
