Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiogram procedures as per established protocols and guidelines
- Prepare and position patients for echocardiographic examinations
- Set up and operate echocardiographic equipment
- Capture high-quality images of the heart chambers, valves, and blood vessels using ultrasound techniques
- Record and analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports for physicians
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Assist physicians during transesophageal echocardiography procedures when required
- Communicate and interact professionally with patients to address concerns and provide guidance throughout the procedure
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in echocardiography
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
Requirements:
RDCS Certification (required)
BLS Certification (required)
At least 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician in a clinical or hospital setting
