• Location: Salem, Oregon (97301) – Oregon nursing jobs\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Start Date: December 8, 2025\n
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour variable (07:00-17:30, 09:00-19:30, 11:00-21:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950-$2100\n
• Call & Weekend Coverage: Up to 6 call/weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; night call shifts (8 hours, 23:00-07:00); weekend scheduled/call shifts (10/12 hours)\n
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics\n
• Charting System: Epic (Epic charting experience required)\n

\n\nQualifications – Operating Room Registered Nurse\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing experience preferred)\n
• Active RN license (Oregon RN license can be pending at time of submission)\n
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR certification preferred\n
• Documented Epic charting experience\n
• Travel nursing experience required (first-time travel nurses welcome)\n
• Ability to float to affiliate hospitals, including West Valley Hospital (15 minutes away)\n
• Experience in Level I or II Trauma Centers preferred\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients across specialties: ortho/spine, neuro, cardiovascular/vascular, general surgery, urology, gynecology, dental, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, and trauma\n
• Assist with advanced surgical procedures, including Da Vinci Robotics, joint replacements, and craniotomies\n
• Maintain strict infection control and patient safety protocols\n
• Utilize Epic for accurate and timely patient documentation\n
• Participate in scheduled shifts, call coverage, and weekend rotations as assigned\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV teams, rapid response, and interpretation services\n
• Float to West Valley Hospital as needed to support clinical operations\n
