About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology eCommerce to play a pivotal role in the future of retail. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the technology strategy that supports the company's e-commerce and marketing initiatives across all channels. This includes managing a high-performing team of engineers, testers, architects, and operations, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with the company's e-commerce and marketing strategies. The role demands a leader with a background in running Discovery, Commerce, and Mobile for large retailers, particularly those with MACH-based architectures. The VP will also be tasked with managing relationships with IT product groups and e-commerce/marketing business, driving agile transformation, and staying abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for technological advancement. Applicants for the VP of Technology eCommerce position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or MS being desirable, and at least 15 years' of industry experience in a strategic capacity. A deep understanding of the e-commerce technology landscape, particularly in Discovery, Commerce, and Mobile capabilities, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in delivering high-quality solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex problems efficiently. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker, capable of leveraging technology to solve business problems, and will have a strong background in establishing business processes. Experience in C-Level executive presentations, business case creation, and a history of leading technology teams of varying sizes are also key requirements for this role.
