OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
The Forklift Operator’s primary role is to assist with receiving product, maintaining an organized warehouse area, and assisting with preparing products to be shipped. This position requires the use of pallet jacks and daily forklift driving. A successful candidate will be methodical, organized, take pride in their work, and pay close attention to detail. S/he must pay attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warnings signs of problems are not overlooked. Additionally, s/he is never satisfied with the status quo and is a resourceful troubleshooter.
The Forklift Operator reports to the Warehouse Manager. S/he must develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, suppliers, and customers. S/he must be a team player who is reliable and understands their dependability is important for the team’s success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be required to obtain internal certification for forklift operation
Follow all safety practices
Ensure that all quality standards are followed
Utilize Parity Factory inventory system to receive, organize, store, and ship customer product
Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and upright reach truck
Stack pallets, wrapping pallets, and assisting with customer load outs
Unloading Supply trucks
Attend all staff and department meetings
Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
One year of forklift experience preferred
Knowledge of meat cuts preferred
Previous use of inventory systems and warehousing preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting
heavy loads of up to 60 pounds, etc.)
Good hand-eye coordination
Freezing temperatures. We will supply the coat, insulated overalls, and a pair of heated gloves. Employees are responsible to provide hat and shoes.
Physical stamina to handle being active working around the plant

Location: Clinton, AR
Job Type: Full-time 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime opportunities.
Compensation: $13.00-14.00 per hour, depending on experience. Opportunity for a pay increase based on performance at 90 day evaluation. We believe in rewarding a job well done. Experience is preferred but not necessary. On the job training is provided.
