Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role as a Wedding Planner at Sustainable Soirées. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for working with clients in planning and executing their dream weddings. This includes managing budgets, coordinating vendors, creating timelines, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for the couple and their guests. While this role is primarily located in Chicago, IL, some remote work is flexible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of wedding or event industry experience
• Previous experience working in hospitality at restaurants, hotels, catering, floral, or other wedding and event related companies
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Creativity and a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of the local wedding industry and vendors is a plus
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and event management software
• A commitment to sustainability and incorporating eco-friendly practices in weddings
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
• Reliable car and valid drivers license
• Reliable computer, phone, and internet access
