Responsibilities Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees. Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and correcting employees. Scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results to meet company operational requirements. Achieving financial objectives by monitoring controllable expenses (labor, cost of sales, and other expenses). Maintaining salon compliance with legal requirements and protecting the salon’s reputation. Managing and assigning tasks to ensure the salons are clean, stocked, organized, and customer ready. Establishing rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships. Creating a positive, motivating, team-based environment; resolving customer concerns professionally and timely. Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits. Safeguarding and accounting for all money received; handling banking requirements.
