Workday HCM Consultant (Supply Chain & Finance)

Optomi, in partnership with leading pediatric healthcare provider is seeking a Workday HCM Consultant to join a high-performing ERP team focused on optimizing Workday functionality across finance and supply chain operations. This role combines analytical expertise, Workday configuration skills, and cross-departmental collaboration to support and enhance enterprise processes in HR, Finance, Payroll, AP, Supply Chain, and Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and enhance system functionality.
  • Configure, customize, and maintain Workday HCM modules, with a focus on finance and supply chain-related processes.
  • Lead efforts to reduce manual workarounds and complete prior implementation work.
  • Design and implement system improvements and feature releases to support evolving business needs.
  • Provide advanced system support, troubleshooting complex issues and improving performance.
  • Ensure Workday system compliance, security, and adherence to change control protocols.
  • Participate in ERP-related project work, including planning, execution, testing, and post-go-live support.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong, broad-based experience with Workday, especially in HCM modules.
  • Experience supporting or interacting with modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Absence is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of finance and supply chain business processes and requirements.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across business units.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset toward process improvement.
  • Experience with ERP integrations and system security best practices.
