We’re Hiring: Administrative Assistant 

Location: Henry County Parks & Recreation Department
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary Minimum: $38,899

The County of Henry is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant in the Parks & Recreation Department.

The position manages daily communications, serves as the front-desk receptionist, and coordinates scheduling for staff, meetings, and events. It maintains departmental records, databases, and filing systems, and handles various financial tasks such as processing invoices, depositing received funds, and collecting timecards.

The role also supports program and facility operations by managing facility reservations, assisting with preparation for sports programs, collecting participant information and fees, and maintaining event schedules across platforms such as the county calendar and social media. Additional responsibilities include attending advisory board meetings and helping with special events and projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate strong organizational and customer service abilities.
