Monarch NC, a provider of high-quality and trauma-informed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders, is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Assertive Community Treatment team in Greensboro, NC.
***This position requires traveling to the homes of the people we serve in the Greensboro and Winston Salem area. Full or Part Time hours ranging 10 - 40 hours per week, and a flexible schedule working 5-10 hours per day. This position is 100% onsite, with no option for remote work.***
***There is a $10,000 sign on bonus for this position.***
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications for people we support diagnosed with mental disorders under the direction of a qualified health care provider to enhance the quality of life through services that enables them to achieve their personal dreams and goals and be integrated into the community with the greatest possible degree of self-determination and independence. You will review past treatments, evaluations, and other relevant information, in order to develop an appropriate diagnosis and person-centered plans and screens referrals in coordination with the other Assertive Community Treatment Team members. You will also prescribe medication when appropriate under the supervision of a physician or according to established policies and protocols.
To qualify, candidates must have the following:
***A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
***Candidates must be a North Carolina Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
***At least 3 years of experience prescribing to a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) population.
