Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time physical therapy professional is needed to provide specialized services at a K-8 charter elementary school in Burlington, NC. This position involves supporting one student requiring physical therapy and compensatory minutes, with the potential to expand through Extended School Year (ESY) services. The role is a contract opportunity lasting the current school year (CSY), estimated at five or fewer hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services tailored to meet the students needs.
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the students educational program.
• Document progress and maintain communication with the students caregivers and educational team.
• Participate in planning and potential ESY service delivery.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Familiarity with K-8 educational environments and therapy interventions suited for this age group.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration within a multidisciplinary school team.
• Ability to manage a flexible part-time schedule effectively.
