Job Details
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience and handling matters in state and/or federal court.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal agreements.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a broad range of legal matters.
Represent our clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Collaborate with legal team members to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may impact our clients.
Manage client relationships, ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance across the organization.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in the legal industry.
Experience with civil litigation is required
Experience with or interest in medical malpractice is preferred.
Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
Current license to practice law in the state of Oregon.
