Job Description

This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in CHR Corporate Human Resources division. The Associate Specialist, Abbott Talent Deployment will serve as technical mobility expert for Abbott’s Professional Development Program global rotations leveraging expertise in the mobility compliance space, including immigration and relocation compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day activities such as assignment and transfer administration of global rotations, supporting the Frequent Business Traveler program through payroll, tax and immigration compliance with outside tax vendor and payroll team, managing metrics and dashboard reporting for ATD (general relocation data and Frequent Business Travel program), maintaining superuser status for ATD’s management system (AssignmentPro), managing new reporting requests and document repository with ATD’s system of record, ensuring adherence to corporate compliance, legal, and regulatory standards, providing ongoing reports and cost analysis to assist management decision-making, and ensuring operations and processes are efficient and scalable. Required qualifications include excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, 0-2 years of working experience in a global environment, minimum of an Associate degree, experience interfacing with senior level management, ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects, and mastery of Microsoft Office applications. Preferred qualifications include experience in a customer service environment, understanding of regulatory and compliance environment related to employees and employee documentation, a Bachelor’s degree, project management experience, and proficiency with Excel functions such as Pivot tables and Vlookups.
