Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible, caring, and reliable caregiver/driver to assist an elderly gentleman in the Tahoe area. This is a summer position with relatively short daytime hours , ideal for someone local with flexibility and a passion for helping others. The position involves transportation assistance , light caregiving duties, and occasional errands.

Responsibilities:

• Drive client to appointments, errands, or short outings using your own clean, insured vehicle.
• Assist with safe transfers in and out of the car and home.
• Provide companionship and basic care support (light help with mobility, reminders, etc.)
• Assist with occasional errands, light meal pickup, or shopping as needed.
• Ensure client safety, comfort, and dignity during outings and at home.

Requirements:

• Valid California driver’s license (CDL required).
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle (must be clean, well-maintained, and insured).
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Physically capable of assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable.
• Willing to pass a background check.
