About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and operational leader, responsible for establishing a comprehensive vision and strategy for information technology across the enterprise. This role involves partnering with clinical and administrative leaders to drive the organization's mission and strategic goals, providing leadership in the development and implementation of information services, and ensuring the optimization of clinical and business processes through advanced information technology. The CIO will also be tasked with advancing system integration, aligning IT team members, and overseeing IT core processes, including governance, project management, and cyber security. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a solid IT background, with a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in information technology leadership, and at least 5 years as a CIO or senior IT executive. While not mandatory, healthcare experience, particularly within a community health system, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, with an undergraduate degree in computer science or business administration, and a master's degree is strongly preferred. The CIO must possess the qualities of a leader, strong strategic and business acumen, and a commitment to staying current with advancements in the field.
