Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our commercial and industrial concrete construction projects . This position plays a key role in coordinating project details, managing documentation, supporting field operations, and ensuring successful delivery of concrete scopes, including foundations, slabs, tilt-up, structural concrete, and site work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and managing all phases of concrete construction projects

  • Coordinate with field superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and clients

  • Maintain and track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports

  • Assist in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contracts

  • Help manage budgets, cost tracking, and billing

  • Monitor project timelines and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders

  • Support material procurement and delivery scheduling

  • Participate in site visits, progress meetings, and safety audits

  • Maintain project files and logs in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid)

  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, preferably with concrete-specific work

  • Working knowledge of concrete construction practices, including flatwork, structural pours, and form systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management tools

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents

  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with strong attention to detail

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
