Salary:

Marketing copywriters at Gleim are responsible for writing engaging and clear copy across owned, earned, and paid channels that promote interest in our brand and our products. Marketing writers produce compelling, transformative, persuasive prose for different customer-facing mediums—including but not limited to: email, social media, digital, web, and print—and collaborate with designers to see their words brought to life. Responsibilities:

• Understand Gleim’s message, brand voice, and target audience
• Write engaging, on-brand, and error-lite copy—from long-form to short-form content to mediums and channels where every character counts
• Distill messaging into headlines, taglines, subject lines that are clarion calls to action
• Edit and retool the writing of others to suit different times, places, and purposes
• Turn creative direction and technical information into persuasive copy concepts
• Collaborate with team members and across departments to brainstorm and develop marketing materials
• Execute on approved projects and hit deadlines
• Research keywords and keep abreast of best practices

Requirements:

• An applicable 4-year degree (e.g., English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, etc)
• Work efficiently to create relevant copy
• Strong attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and grow
• Work on-site full time at our Gainesville, Fl office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a content management system, preferably WordPress
• Familiarity with SEO
• Copywriting experience
