Role: Data Strategist

Hybrid: 3 Days in the office

Location: Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX

Contract: 12- 24 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Strategist to define and drive enterprise-level data strategies, ensuring optimal data models and architecture across multiple platforms

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement enterprise-level data strategies for credit risk and consumer data.
• Assess existing data models, ensure alignment with business objectives, and lead their enhancement or redesign as needed.
• Oversee the migration of legacy Teradata systems into RDS and Hadoop environments.
• Define and execute data governance frameworks to improve data quality, consistency, and security across the enterprise.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to educate on data strategy best practices.
• Plan and strategize the deployment of a new Hadoop environment and optimize its usage.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between data initiatives and business objectives.
• Mentor and guide data teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a large financial institution or credit risk domain.
• Knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance, and data security best practices.
• Previous experience leading large-scale data migrations in an enterprise environment.
