Job Description
Sherion Fort Myers is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Deep Cleaning Technician to join our Stewarding Team in Punta Gorda, Florida. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the thorough and detailed cleaning of all commercial kitchen equipment, surfaces, and workspaces. From dismantling and scrubbing industrial cooking equipment to assisting kitchen staff and following health & safety protocols, your attention to detail will ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary food preparation environment. This is a 3rd shift position
Responsibilities:
Dismantle, deep clean, and reassemble commercial kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills, broilers, and more.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
Clean and disinfect all ceilings, walls, baseboards, floor mats, hoods (interior and exterior), and hard-to-reach areas.
Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively, following standard operating procedures.
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times during cleaning operations.
Sweep, mop, wash dishes, empty trash, and assist with supply stocking and general kitchen support.
Collaborate with Kitchen Workers and provide support in back-of-house operations when needed.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and departmental policies and procedures.
Perform any additional duties assigned by Stewarding Managers or Supervisors.
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Must be able to stand, bend, lift, climb, crawl and move for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 50lbs and operate industrial cleaning equipment.
Work involves exposure to cleaning agents, hot surfaces, and wet environments.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
A combination of education and experience in commercial kitchen cleaning, janitorial services, or stewarding will be considered.
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts if required.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety standards, and kitchen hygiene protocols.
Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
