Employment Opportunity Inter-Con is searching for motivated individuals to fill the role of an Armed Diplomatic Security Officer. You\u2019ll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nation\u2019s most critical assets. You will be part of a comprehensive security solution to protect ours and visiting nations\u2019 diplomats across multiple locations in the United States. What We Offer Competitive pay starting at $25.21 per hour plus an additional $5.10 per hour for health benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans Paid time off Recognition and reward programs Training and career development Location Tucson Specific Requirements Be a minimum of 21 years of age Be eligible to work in the United States Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance Fluent in both written and spoken English Possess a valid United States driver\u2019s license Possess a minimum of three (3) years of active duty military service, having held the rank of E-4 or higher upon honorable discharge; OR, Graduate of a certified federal, state, or local law enforcement training academy, a military police school, or the US Marine Corps\u2019 Marine Security Guard or Security Forces School Have a minimum of three (3) years of federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience Possess a Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited school and have the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the position Possess an Associate\u2019s Degree in Criminal Justice (or minimum 60 credit hours with 27 hours in core curriculum) and have been employed in the field of criminal justice in the past year Have a minimum of three (3) years of verified armed security officer experience within the most recent four (4) years with responsibilities similar to the position Work Environment and Schedule Work occurs at client sites and may be indoors or outdoors Prolonged standing and walking as part of daily security activities Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed Work various shifts and locations as assigned; time flexibility depending on company needs Veterans Inter-Con is committed to hiring veterans and has a history of providing opportunities for veterans in security, law enforcement, government services, foreign affairs, and related fields.
