Ashley Furniture HomeStore , the largest volume furniture retailer in America AND the #1 selling home furniture brand in the World, is seeking a handy, artistic, detail-oriented and organized individual to enhance our customers’ overall experience in our service shop in Fort Wayne, IN. As a Furniture Repair Technician , you will be responsible for the repair and restoration process of assembled furniture and upholstery in accordance with the Ashley Furniture HomeStore standards. This position may include in-shop repair, and/or in-home repair work.
Choose your own hours! We are flexible with either part time or full time hours.
We are looking for someone who is a "handy man". Someone who enjoys working with their hands and figuring out solutions. You would work on wood touch up repairs including scratches, dents, and splits, where color matching and blending come into play; and upholstery repairs including structural/internal mechanism replacements.
You don't have to have experience. We will train you for success!
Our Service Repair & Restoration Shop is located inside our Ashley Distribution Center located at 3725 N. Wells Street in Fort Wayne, IN. where you will work out of Monday - Friday for full time work. We are flexible with hours, along with working inside the shop and using company vans for traveling to customers homes for in-home repair work as well.
Compensation is based on experience, ability, attitude, flexibility, dependability, & performance.
