Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and energetic Field Technician Assistant / Assistant Project Manager to support both hands-on field operations and project coordination. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors but also wants to take on leadership and organizational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Technician Duties:
• Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and hardscape projects
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials to and from job sites
• Operate hand tools and small equipment under supervision
• Follow directions from lead technicians and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assistant Project Manager Duties:
• Help coordinate job site activities and ensure tasks stay on schedule
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and crews under direction of the project manager
• Track materials, deliveries, and inventory
• Assist in quality control and job documentation (photos, checklists, progress updates)
• Support job planning, crew direction, and scheduling
Qualifications:
• Experience in landscaping, construction, or related outdoor work preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Energetic, dependable, positive attitude
• Willing to work with both your hands and your mind
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the company
