The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a full-time Marketing Intern to support our marketing operations during peak times: May 2026 through end of the football season . This role offers hands-on experience and professional developmental opportunities while contributing to impactful projects that engage fans and strengthen the Colts brand.

The Indianapolis Colts Marketing team works to connect with fans, amplify our brand, and deliver memorable experiences that unite our community. As the Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our initiatives across key areas, including affinity clubs, events, licensing and consumer products, social media, and brand marketing. This position provides exposure to gameday operations, retail activations, fan engagement programs, and cross-departmental collaboration.

HIRING MANAGER Director of Marketing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of affinity clubs within our Fan Club Network and Blue's Club, including membership sales, communications, promotional fulfillment, and event planning and execution.
  • Facilitate gameday giveaways, coordinate distribution with volunteer crews, and assist with on-site activations to enhance fan experiences.
  • Support the implementation of gameday inventory and marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and email platforms, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and goals.
  • Assist in creating and curating engaging content for ancillary social media platforms, with a focus on providing event coverage and enhancing Colts Life channels.
  • Collaborate on retail initiatives, including promotions, photoshoots, and product launches, to highlight Colts-branded merchandise.
  • Create marketing collateral including information graphics, documents, and promotional materials using platforms such as Adobe, to further initiatives and effectively communicate programs.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends and monitor influencer channels to identify potential partnerships and opportunities to expand the Colts reach.
  • Aid in the execution of sweepstakes, contests, and fan engagement initiatives throughout the season.
  • Support tracking and reporting efforts, including campaign performance, social media metrics, and event success.
  • Manage marketing calendars, organize materials, maintain inventories, and process administrative requests to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Assist the overall marketing department with event execution, program management, and maintaining key departmental systems and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a graduation date by May 2026
  • Legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for the duration of the internship
  • Live within driving distance of the greater Indianapolis area for the duration of the internship
  • Detail-oriented and organized; flexible with the ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated and passionate about working in sports
  • Excellent communicator with strong customer service and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
