Job Overview

This position will be responsible for operating a spray booth in our finishing room spraying wood cabinetry with primer, paint, stain, and topcoat.

Responsibilities

• Spray wood cabinets, doors, drawers, shelves, etc. with primer, paint, stain, topcoat, etc.
• Work with other team members to apply special finishes such as: glazing, bleaching, color steps, to match the required finish in both color and quality
• Work with the quality department to verify/improve parts finished to meet the standards

Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in spray on surface finishing: staining, priming, painting, topcoat (preferably in the wood industry, other industries also accepted)
• Prior experience in special processes such as stain matching, glazing, color steps processing preferred
• Prior experience in matching colors compared to color samples (artistic eye for color)
• Prior experience with cleaning and maintaining paint sprayers and tools
• Ability to work with a team on collaborative solutions

• Previous experience with paint sprayer is helpful

Great Hours!

Daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 plus overtime as needed, Saturdays 5 am: to 9 am
