Position Summary

This position is responsible for day-to-day production within the copy shop. Supervises, motivates, and supports the staff daily, applying a team approach and maintaining open communications. The Print Production Manager/Graphic Designer plans, schedules, strategizes, and oversees all production activities while continually building sales and maintaining profitability. This position performs essential functions to ensure overall customer satisfaction, quality service and establishes and maintains effective communication with employees and clients.
Assistant Manager/Graphic Designer is also responsible for the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of personnel and equipment to reduce bottlenecks and problems. In addition, this position is responsible for designing and getting orders ready for digital print, keeping digital printers in working condition along with monitoring maintenance agreements.

Qualifications

· Experience with Adobe CS Suite and PC format required

· Proven strong customer service skills

· 5 or more years of experience designing wide range of products

· 3 – 5 years previous leadership in fast paced print shop: running copiers, large format and envelope printers

· Bindery, copiers, large format and envelope printers experience required

· Minimum Typing Speed of 40 wpm

· Position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

The Print Production Manager/Graphic Designer is responsible for:

General and Administrative duties
Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company's commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

· Producing and prioritizing jobs when necessary, reorganizing schedules and production to meet deadline changes and updates

· Compliance with all OSHA safety requirements

· Communicating effectively with company owner, sales and production teams, informing and updating regularly to guarantee production, sales and customer objectives are met.

· Following systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.

· Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

· Maintaining excellent customer relations with new and existing clients

· Follows and enforces systematic procedures outlined in the company manuals and ensure company policies & procedures are followed.

· Meeting all assigned goals and assisting others in accomplishing their goals.
