Our client, a leading Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a talented mid-level associate to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice in Chicago. As a member of this dynamic team, you will work closely with partners and clients throughout the full real estate lifecycle, gaining meaningful responsibility from day one and helping drive complex transactions to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Structure, document, and negotiate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leasing arrangements, and development projects
Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, commercial leases, and development contracts
Lead and coordinate closings, including title and survey review, due diligence, zoning and land use analysis, and entity formation
Advise clients on construction, development, and ongoing asset management matters
Mentor junior associates, manage workstreams, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Qualifications:
3 to 6 years (ONLY - 3RD TO 6TH CLASS YEAR) of experience in sophisticated real estate practice
Background in one or more of the following: acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, or development matters
Prior law firm experience required; lender-side financing experience preferred but not mandatory
Admission to, and in good standing with, the Illinois State Bar

Proven ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
