Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position involves providing physical therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Cambridge, MA, with additional in-home services provided in Andover. The role is a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY), focusing on delivering quality care to students requiring support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments to students within the K-12 school environment.
  • Provide in-home physical therapy services twice weekly, with sessions lasting 60 minutes each.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students' physical development and educational progress.
  • Document therapy plans, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Adjust therapy approaches based on student needs and responses to treatment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant certifications.
  • Experience working within school systems, preferably in K-12 settings.
  • Ability to provide in-home physical therapy services effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to student-centered care tailored to individual needs.

Location:

  • Primary worksite in Cambridge, MA, with in-home services conducted in Andover, MA.
