We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Professional to join our team. As a Security Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Preference is given to candidates with prior military or law enforcement experience. However, individuals without such backgrounds will only be considered if they demonstrate extensive experience in security-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address any security risks or breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
• Provide a visible presence to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas
• Enforce access control policies and procedures
• Document incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive

Requirements

• Must be able to pass background checks and drug testing (including for THC)
• Must have a valid armed PILB work card
• Must own a 9mm Glock 19 or similar
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
• Familiarity with emergency response protocols
• Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods of time

Experience

• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, is preferred
• Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
• This is NOT an entry level position and requires each professional to have leadership experience.

Our client requires security 7 days a week from 7am - 10pm daily. Individual work schedule is 4 days weekly and shifts are 12 hours which is paid at 8-hours regular time and 4-hours overtime per shift (8 hours x $25-$30 + 4 hours x $40-$45)
