Role Purpose The Senior Legal Researcher plays a critical role in shaping the accuracy and reliability of our AI‑powered legal drafting platform. Your expertise in Swiss contractual and obligations law will directly influence the quality of our product by providing authoritative input that trains and improves our system. Through rigorous research, precise contract drafting, and structured feedback, you will ensure that our AI delivers legally sound, consistent, and high‑quality outputs. This position bridges traditional legal expertise with cutting‑edge technology, making your contributions essential to building a trusted and innovative solution for the legal industry. Key Responsibilities Conduct advanced legal research in Swiss contractual law, general obligations law, and related areas. Independently draft and review contracts under Swiss law, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Conduct testing and proofread agreements and systems under Swiss law to verify legal soundness and precision, assessing the accuracy and consistency of outputs. Identify and report issues or improvements to enhance the reliability and precision of AI‑assisted drafting. Collaborate with peers and reviewers to refine content and validate analytical accuracy. Provide legal expertise and structured feedback to the AI development team. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining precision and clarity across deliverables. Work independently and asynchronously in a fast‑paced startup environment, demonstrating initiative and accountability. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Swiss Law, and one of the following: Admission to the Swiss Bar, completion of a PhD in Law, or significant professional experience in contract drafting under Swiss law. Proven expertise in contractual law and strong understanding of Swiss legal frameworks. Minimum requirement of 3 years of experience in the Swiss legal field. Demonstrated ability to draft and review contracts independently with precision and legal accuracy. Native‑level proficiency in German and excellent command of English, with precise legal terminology and nuanced expression in both languages. Strong familiarity with IT tools and workflows; very good command of Microsoft Word and related applications. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt effectively within a fast‑paced startup environment. Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
