Job Description
The Senior Scientist will be joining an established team of scientists involved in commercial analysis and research of PFAS compounds. Primary responsibilities would include assisting the team with document review, idea generation, and leading research and development projects. Knowledge of relevant analytical techniques is a must and hands-on analytical work may be required as well as oversight of staff executing technical work. Other project work may be required to meet client needs. Project leadership, stewardship, and ownership will be expected.
Interfacing with RJLG clients will (eventually) be a part of this role, so the ability to explain highly technical concepts to a non-expert audience with clarity is highly valued in this position. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in both the spoken and written word. Experience in proposal writing and a record of publications with primary authorship would be valued.
