We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Web Development Manager to join our team. This is a key opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment. In this role, you’ll lead our web development and UX team, oversee all client-facing digital work, and manage our agency’s internal technology needs. Qualifications We’re looking for a Senior Web Development Manager with proven experience overseeing both web development projects. You will guide a talented team of three developers/designers, collaborate across departments, and ensure that client deliverables and internal operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on problem solver—comfortable balancing client-facing digital leadership with practical technology management. Note that this is not a remote position; requires onsite in our offices Mondays-Thursdays with Fridays working offsite if so desired. Specific responsibilities include:

• Oversee all client web development and UX projects from planning through launch.
• Manage and mentor a team of three developers and UX/UI designers.
• Collaborate with client service, design, and strategy teams to ensure high-quality digital outcomes.
• Establish and enforce best practices for modern web technologies, accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization.
• Manage hosting environments, CMS platforms, and digital integrations.
• Partner with our outside IT company to ensure smooth operation of agency-wide technology, including software, servers, security, and equipment upgrades.
• Oversee software licensing, updates, and implementation of new tools and platforms.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend improvements for both client work and internal systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in web development, digital project management, or related leadership roles.
• Strong technical foundation in modern front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Experience leading a web development and UX team.
• Familiarity with agency IT management, including servers, software, and hardware.
• Strong understanding of UX best practices, ADA compliance, and SEO principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
