Department: Pridwin Spa Position: Spa Massage Therapist Reports To: Spa Manager / Hotel General Manager Pay Rate: 45% of service plus gratuity Position Overview: Guest focused Massage therapist. These duties may be described as, but not limited to: Have full knowledge of spa booking and charging system. Will be able to work through any technical issue occurring at spa front desk. Delivers a variety pf spa services in a safe and comfortable manner. Maintaining equipment and sample inventory of products. Acknowledge and respond to hotel guest needs. Greet visitors to Spa answering all questions and concerns or follow through with proper manager. Respond to all e-mail inquiries as needed. Assist director in communications with spa groups to set up spa services. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of Spa. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess good computational ability. Must possess good typing skills. Must have exceptional organizational skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects daily. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing are occasionally required. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must have a NY State License to perform Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience as a spa therapist Hands on experience in massage and face/body therapies. Positive attitude as part of the Pridwin Hotel team. All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per standards.
