Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Bilingual (Spanish)
Location: Belmont, CA (Two school sites: Elementary & Middle School)
Schedule: 35 hours/week
Pay Rate: $40-$45 /hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and support students in achieving their communication goals. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services in educational settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who enjoys working with children and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the supervising SLP in implementing individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the SLP.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
Support classroom teachers and staff in implementing communication strategies.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate's degree OR bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Completion of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience.
Current SLPA certification or licensure in California.
Compliance with professional standards of practice.
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
At least 18 years of age.
One (1) year of prior SLPA experience preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish (Required).

Two school sites: one elementary and one middle school.
Caseload will be determined upon assignment.
