Job Title: Sports / General Management Intern

Organization: The Players' League - High Point Hushpuppies

Department: Administration / Operations

Reports To: General Manager

Summary:

The Sports Management Intern will assist with the day-to-day operations of The Players' League, a summer collegiate league. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sports management and a desire to learn about the inner workings of a professional sports organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and execution of league events, including games, tournaments, and special events
• Manage team travel and accommodations
• Coordinate with host families for visiting teams
• Maintain league records and statistics
• Assist with marketing and promotions
• Manage social media accounts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in sports management, business, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with social media management
• Passion for sports and a strong interest in sports management
