Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Training Manager to lead the development, delivery, and management of technical training for the production workforce and frontline leaders. The role involves partnering with operations leaders to assess training needs and implement training plans for new, existing, and future employees to ensure a world-class workforce. Responsibilities include leading New Hire Onboarding and Apprentice & School-to-Work programs, maximizing federal and state funding, managing the Employee Training Center, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires managing technical trainers or support staff, administering a digital training platform, and collaborating with third-party vendors. The role is onsite in Middletown, CT, supporting primarily Connecticut Operations with some support to other US sites. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in machining or quality, or an advanced degree with 5+ years relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and willingness to support varied work schedules including pre/post-shift and weekends. Preferred qualifications include project management skills, technical training experience, lean principles knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office, manufacturing process knowledge, and advanced blueprint interpretation skills. The role is onsite and requires up to 10% travel.
