JOB DESCRIPTION: Our
Retail Outlet/ Recycle Assistant Manager leads by example through fair delegation and hands-on work in various areas of the store. They demonstrate a commitment to friendly customer service and team work. They show integrity, following company guidelines in letter and spirit. They hold associates and self-accountable for meeting company goal, treating all staff with respect and fairness. They show integrity and resourcefulness and enjoy a varied and very fast-paced environment.
Retail Outlet Assistant Managers will be responsible for the following duties :
- Ensuring efficient, accurate recyclable sorting and packing of recycled commodities.
- Payroll/timekeeping
- Assisting in ensuring production goals and sales goals are met.
- Communicating tools, equipment and product needs to Transportation Department.
- Closing store, reconciling cash with daily sales reports and securing facility for night.
- Cash register/customer service.
- Pulling items from sales floor, placing in carts/ totes and moving to recycling area (may also require frequent lifting of moderately heavy items up to 35 lbs).
- Stocking sales floor with goods.
- Some Data entry utilizing Excel spread sheets.
EDUCATION : High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE : Retail or production experience strongly preferred. Supervisory experience helpful.
HOURS : Most stores are open M-Sat from 8am-8pm and open at 1pm on Sundays.
